Simple Cheese Bagel Snacks

Great for breakfast or a midnight snack

Prep: 1 minute
Total: 10 minutes

Ingredients

Serves 1

- 1 mini-bagel (not bagel-bite size, but 3-4 inches in diameter)
- 1 slice of american cheese (kraft single or otherwise)

Directions

1. Slice open bagel if not pre-sliced
2. Place slice of cheese onto bottom half of bagel
3. Fold back overhanging cheese to double-layer parts of the cheese on the bagel
4. Toast/bake at 375 degrees until corners of the cheese are brownish/singed

Hint
Eat before cheese solidifies.  Adding bacon or tater tots or eggs are all possible, but obviously make it more complicated.

wouldn't it be better to use grated cheese? it'd melt more evenly (and i think packaged cheese slices taste weeeeird)

also, it's hillarious that this recipe is "serves 1"... definitely never seen that before, but def appropriate for us - altho a lil sad... :(

haha i actually eat 2 at a time of these things, but grated cheese is more complicated.. (i actually like kraft's singles a lot)

you could try grated, but the slice works really well; it all melts anyway.. TRY IT <3
